Superintendent

Construction Superintendents – Jacksonville, Orlando & Colorado Division

Immediate openings for Construction Superintendents in Nassau, Clay, Duval and St. Johns County.  Competitive base salary and benefits with market leading bonus potential.

A Construction Superintendent will manage all functions of the construction job site as it relates to building quality residential homes; supervise construction from dirt start through closing while maximizing profits and maintaining excellence, and ensures quality assurance and customer satisfaction are maintained throughout the construction process. Detailed day to day expectations include:

  • Plan and direct trade partners in the construction and completion of quality residential homes.
  • Responsible for scheduling report (slab to frame, frame to mechanical, drywall to cabinet and cabinet to final).
  • Ensure consistent application of “Even Flow”, homes completed per schedule (daily starts, closings and monthly deliveries).
  • Produce accurate and consistent production schedules to ensure minimal overall cycle times.
  • Schedule and monitor trade partners during the entire construction process from start to closing. Informs and trains trade partners regarding company policies and procedures, including safety and OSHA compliance.
  • Approve trade partner’s purchase orders and invoices for assigned homes, while ensuring completion of work in a quality and timely manner. Maintains trade partner scorecards on performance and submits to purchasing.
  • Monitor subdivision cleanliness and hold trade partners responsible for daily clean-up.
  • Interact with Architecture, Engineering, Studio, Purchasing and Closing Department and considers their input/deadlines during the process to ensure timely quality construction.

Customer Service:

  • Continually strive for superior referral ratings
  • Responsible for executing all home deliveries 100% complete and signed off by closing with the customer.
  • Monitor and resolve customer or construction concerns to facilitate smooth final closing process.
  • Maintain weekly contact with every customer.
  • Deliver Pre-Construction and Pre-Drywall orientations with buyers to reinforce contact with buyer throughout the construction process.

Safety and Quality Standards:

  • Maintain a safe work site by implementing good housekeeping regulations and safety requirements, enforcing safe work habits and observing OSHA and any state-level agencies’ regulations.

Warranty Specialist

Customer Service Representative – Savannah, GA

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Perform Pre-Closing QC inspections on homes prior to closing to ensure they meet the quality expectations of DFH
  • Conduct 11-month warranty inspections with homeowners to identify and schedule warranty repairs prior to the expiration of the 1-year portion of the DFH warranty
  • Manage customer care program in a manner which is consistent with construction practices and budgetary constraints resulting in satisfied DFH homeowners.
  • Analyze trends in service work, warranty obligations in order to identify root causes of errors and possible solutions.
  • Develop and implement procedures and programs which correct root causes of warranty obligations.
  • Receive and log customer care requests, evaluate them and respond appropriately with either repair work or sound explanation to homeowners regarding why repair work is outside the scope of DFH warranty program.
  • Develop and implement a service work scheduling process which results in timely completion of needed warranty work.
  • Maintain an effective working relationship with subcontractors.
  • Interface with customers in a way which results in highly satisfied homeowners.

Qualifications and Experience

Our Design Center is the one-stop resource for homebuyers to choose distinctive finishes that make their home completely unique. At Dream Finders Homes we pride ourselves at being a trendsetter in the local market. We allow our buyers the ability to customize and personalize their home plans and design their home to reflect their specific tastes.

Job Summary: In this position you will have the opportunity to use your interior design degree, administrative and customer service skills in the homebuilding industry.  At Dream Finders Homes our Designers enjoy the excitement of knowing each and every home they assist in designing will be different from the next!

Typical work schedule will vary based on design center appointments and inventory design selections. Design Consultant will also need to be available for Design Center Preview Nights on Tuesday evening hours twice each month. Must have the ability to be flexible to include occasional evening hours to meet our customers’ needs.

Compensation: Our Designers are independent contractors who are compensated on a commission structure.
