3Get Organized, Get Busy

  • Complete your loan application with a Dream Finders Homes Preferred Lender
  • Gather financial documents needed for loan approval
  • Review with your lender the timeline for the loan process

4Get Personal With Your New Home

  • Finalize your structural home plans at your plan review meeting
  • Schedule your design appointment with the Dream Finders Homes Design Center (the design center will call you to schedule your design appointment)
  • Visit the Design Center on a Preview Night to create a “Wish List”
  • Review The Pathway to Home Ownership and specific dates on your home’s construction schedule
  • Meet your Designer at the Dream Finders Homes Design Center to make feature selections for your new home

5Get Excited, Watch the Progress

  • Attend the Pre-Start Orientation with your builder and sales team
  • Make pre-arranged site visits
  • Attend the Pre-Drywall Orientation with your builder
  • Secure Loan Locks with preferred lender (the Dream Finders Homes closing department will first contact you with your closing schedule)

6Get REALLY Excited

  • Quality Assurance check by builder and warranty team
  • Take your New Home Orientation walk-through with your builder
  • Confirm Delivery Schedule and preliminary closing date
  • Transfer Utilities

7Get the Keys

  • Confirm your official closing date                          
  • Attend Re-Walk of home with your builder
  • Sign loan documents and close escrow
  • Get comfortable in your brand new Dream Finders Home
